Great-looking glass plaques for ITE. The red logo and black texts are uv-printed directly onto the surface of the glass.
JPK Instruments is a Germany-based world-leading electronics manufacturer, and we’re proud to play a small role in their product. This signage is intended to be placed inside one of their machines, and aluminum was chosen to match the interior colors.
Etched background results in an “embossed” effect of the logo, when in actual fact it is the background that has been “de-bossed” instead. As the chemical etching was done all the way to the edge of the label, our client’s feedback to us was that the edges were slightly too sharp for their intended usage. We then suggested to inverse the etching process, and here’s how it turned out.
Honoured to have our standards recognised by such a reputable firm. According to my client who does bespoke furniture for the CEO of Mitsubishi, he immediately gave the go-ahead to have us do up this signage upon seeing our sample.
Heartiest congratulations to Raffles Girls School’s new campus grand opening! The colored logo certainly does contrast better with the light-colored aluminim background, as opposed to stainless steel, which has a “darker” finishing in nature.
In ancient times, wood engraving referred to the manual process of carving indentations into wood using hand tools. Till date, this trade is still being practiced in parts of Singapore, mainly for the Chinese market’s signage requirements. What we have above, however, is done via our CNC engraving machine and filled with gold paint, to join Balestier Hill Primary School’s PSLE wall of achievements plaque.
