JPK Instruments is a Germany-based world-leading electronics manufacturer, and we’re proud to play a small role in their product. This signage is intended to be placed inside one of their machines, and aluminum was chosen to match the interior colors.
Etched background results in an “embossed” effect of the logo, when in actual fact it is the background that has been “de-bossed” instead. As the chemical etching was done all the way to the edge of the label, our client’s feedback to us was that the edges were slightly too sharp for their intended usage. We then suggested to inverse the etching process, and here’s how it turned out.
Heartiest congratulations to Raffles Girls School’s new campus grand opening! The colored logo certainly does contrast better with the light-colored aluminim background, as opposed to stainless steel, which has a “darker” finishing in nature.

Unbeknownst to the naked eye, this Subcrew label appears to be installed via rivets. So long as this label remains untempered, no one would ever realise that the rivets are purely for aesthetic purposes only, and that the label was in fact attached via 3M adhesive tape instead.
Really cool-looking black anodized aluminum labels for Subcrew. Choice of colorless etching and rivets results in a perfect blend of bad boy and ruggedness appeal.
