UAF Stainless Steel Colorless Etching Label
So I initially thought UAF stood for Unmanned Aerial Fighter. Makes sense with all the cool bombs and missiles in the background, correct? Turns out it actually meant Underground Ammunition Facility. Regardless, that is one cool logo, and one cool label (dare I say). The facility is initiated in mind with the scarcity of land mass faced in our tiny red dot. With growing population and limited locations for storage of ammunitions, our government turned to underground alternatives to efficiently utilise our limited land resources.
Touching on the label, what appears to be sand-blasted finishing in the background is actually the result of chemical etching. The difference is in the smoothness, ours being more fine, and not as course compared to sand-blasting. This further brings out the hairline stainless steel portions that were not etched, resulting in the finished logo seen above.
