A beautiful contrast between brushed steel and marbled background. This piece of China Life label is etched without any inkfill. The result is similar to that of sand blasting, whereby the etched results have a sort of sandy finishing.
As opposed to laser engraving, there will not be any fine lines along the edges of the texts and logo, and all round corners will be perfectly smooth. This is because laser engraving is similar to that of conventional rotary engraving, whereby engravings are done one line at a time.
The depth of our chemical etched items are generally about 0.02mm. It may not seem like much, but such a depth is sufficient for paint filling process. We usually do not etch any deeper than 0.03mm as the sides of the etched layout might start to “slope”, as the acids do not etch into the metal perpendicularly, but rather in a more natural liquid flow.
