It Works!

Wood Engraving. Initial engraving on wood was too shallow (the one with the gold ink fill), thus we increased the depth settings. Coated afterwards with a layer of varnish oil, the outcome was pretty okay. The wood seen in the images is Nyatoh.

We managed to find some teak, and this time round we will also proceed to dye it, hoping to achieve a deep maroon finishing. On a side note, UV-Printing on wooden drum sticks does indeed look rather outstanding.

That’s all for this week, next week will include 6mm brass hairline polishing, and teak engraving.
